1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the Wizon Hub website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or participate in our auctions.
2. About Our Services
Wizon Hub operates an online liquidation auction business based in Cambridge, Ontario. We sell overstock, shelf-pull, and customer-return merchandise through online auctions hosted on the HiBid platform. All bidding takes place on HiBid, and all purchases are subject to both these terms and HiBid’s terms of service.
3. Auction Participation
Registration: To participate in our auctions, you must create a free account on HiBid. You must be at least 18 years of age and provide accurate information during registration.
Bidding: All bids placed are binding. Once you place a bid, you are committed to completing the purchase if you are the winning bidder. Bid manipulation, shill bidding, or any fraudulent activity will result in immediate account termination.
Starting Bids: Most items start at $1.00 CAD. Final prices are determined by competitive bidding.
Buyer’s Premium: A buyer’s premium may apply to all winning bids. The applicable premium percentage will be clearly stated in each auction listing.
4. Payment
Payment is due within 48 hours of the auction closing. Accepted payment methods are as specified on your HiBid invoice. Failure to pay within the required timeframe may result in forfeiture of the item(s) and suspension of your bidding privileges.
5. Item Pickup
Location: All items must be picked up from our warehouse at 240 Holiday Inn Dr, Unit H, Cambridge, ON, N3C 3X4.
Scheduling: Pickups are by appointment only. You must book a pickup appointment through our Setmore booking system. Pickup hours are Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Friday and Saturday are closed.
Deadline: Items must be picked up within one (1) week of the auction closing date. Items not picked up within this period may be forfeited, resold, or disposed of at Wizon Hub’s discretion, without refund.
Identification: You must bring a valid photo ID matching the name on your HiBid account, along with a copy of your invoice (printed or digital).
Loading: Buyers are responsible for loading their items. We recommend bringing help for large or heavy items.
6. Shipping
At this time, Wizon Hub operates as a local pickup only business. Shipping is not currently available. We plan to offer nationwide shipping in the future and will update these terms accordingly.
7. Item Condition & Descriptions
We make every effort to accurately describe and photograph all items listed for auction. However, all items are sold “as-is, where-is” with no warranties or guarantees, express or implied. Items may be overstock, shelf pulls, customer returns, or liquidation goods and may show signs of wear, damage, or missing parts.
It is the buyer’s responsibility to review all photos, descriptions, and ask questions before bidding. We encourage you to inspect items at pickup before leaving the premises.
8. Returns & Refunds
All sales are final. Due to the nature of liquidation auctions, we do not accept returns or issue refunds unless an item is significantly not as described (SNAD). In such cases, you must report the issue within 24 hours of pickup by contacting us at info@wizonhub.ca. Wizon Hub will review SNAD claims on a case-by-case basis at its sole discretion.
9. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Interfere with or disrupt the auction process
- Place bids you do not intend to honor
- Create multiple accounts to manipulate bidding
- Harass, threaten, or abuse Wizon Hub staff or other bidders
- Use our website for any unlawful purpose
Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension and legal action where applicable.
10. Limitation of Liability
Wizon Hub is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, participation in auctions, or the purchase of items. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the purchase price of the item(s) in question.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Wizon Hub and is protected by Canadian intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
